Dynomet DK Aps
Dynomet.dk is a Danish company that has been producing inertial and load chassis dynamometers, portable road dynamometers, motorcycle dynamometers, truck dynamometers and dynamometers for 1:5 scale models for over 30 years.
Dynomet's original concept - a portable road dynamometer - quickly gained recognition among tuning specialists due to its reasonable price, high measurement accuracy, versatility (the device can also measure, for example, acceleration in any range or braking distance) and the lack of limits on measured power.Since its establishment in 1994, Dynomet.dk has sold over 1,500 dynamometers worldwide!
The precision of the company's invention is evidenced by the fact that during the establishment of a new world speed record (Guinness World Record) a portable road dyno made by Dynomet was used.Breaking the speed record for the fastest sedan, 2002, Germany.

Dynomet GPS road dyno
Dynomet GPS - portable GPS road dynamometer is a device that is mounted on the vehicle in a few seconds - we simply place the GPS antenna on the roof of the vehicle and connect the controller to a laptop computer.Measurements are performed on the road in the vehicle's natural environment. This type of dynamometer has no limits on the measured power or torque, it will measure any power and cars or trucks with any drive.Sampling takes place 20 times per second through a high-sensitivity antenna and the latest generation GPS chip.It can measure power and torque (plotted on a graph), acceleration (any, e.g. 0-100 km/h, 0-160 km/h, 80-120 km/h, 1/4 miles time and speed on a quarter mile, etc.), braking distance.

Dynomet chassis dynamometers
Dynomet DK offers several types of chassis dynamometers:
single-axle inertial chassis dynamometer,
4x4 inertial chassis dynamometer, with cardan shaft roller synchronization option,
single-axle inertial-load chassis dynamometer,
4x4 inertial-load chassis dynamometer, with cardan shaft roller synchronization option
General information about our chassis dynamometer linenup
The basic inertial dynamometer with rollers with an inertial mass of approx. 820 kg allows you to measure cars with power up to approx. 500-600 HP. The rollers are knurled and connected to each other to ensure the best possible traction.
If we add the optional 1500 Nm brake, then the tire traction becomes a limit to the maximum power, the dynamometer can measure 1000 HP+, but traction usually ends first.
A 4x4 chassis dynamometer with rollers with an inertial mass of approx. 820 kg per axle, which is synchronized by a shaft, is the only such solution on the market. Two bevel gears and a strong shaft allow measurements of even powerful cars with two-axle drive in 4x4 mode - no need to switch ESP off. It is the only such dyno on the market.
The inertial mass in 4x4 mode is 1700 kg! You can add a 1500 Nm brake, then again the limit of the measured power is tire traction, 1000 HP is not a problem.
Dynomet dynamometers can be expanded. Dynamometers for 1 axle can be expanded to a 4x4 version, and a load brake can be purchased for inertial dynamometers.
Common features of Dynomet chassis dynamometers:
1. The rollers are very heavy, the set for one axle has an inertial mass of approx. 820 kg, which is almost twice as much as most dynamometers found on the market. The heavier the rollers, the greater the resistance and therefore the longer the acceleration time. This allows for precise measurement of very powerful cars, which on light rollers would not be able to generate the appropriate load for the engine (would not obtain full power). With rollers that are too light, we have problems with more powerful diesel engines, due to the high torque.
Thanks to heavy rollers, Dynomet dynamometers can measure up to approx. 600 HP even in inertial mode.
In the case of the 4x4 option, we have the possibility of measuring cars with engines over 1000 HP, still in inertial mode. In the case of the option with a brake, you can measure up to approx. 1000 HP per axle.
2. The rollers are knurled as standard to eliminate wheel slippage and reduce noise.
3. Maximum roller speed - 400 km/h in 2WD mode and 250 km/h in 4x4 mode.
4. The rollers are balanced to less than 1 gram.
5. Optional load brake with a maximum braked torque of 1500 Nm.
6. The dynamometer allows for measuring power/torque in inertial and load mode (option), in the case of load measurement it is possible to set e.g. constant RPM or speed (the brake maintains constant engine RPM regardless of load), simulate road conditions, etc.
7. Graphic charts and for load dynamometers a momentary numerical image of power on the wheels.
8. Possibility of comparing up to 4 measurements.
9. Display of speed, RPM and data from any 6 external analog sensors (e.g. intake air temperature, oil temperature, exhaust gas temperature, fuel-air mixture composition, etc.), possibility of logging these values and placing them on a chart.
The dynamometer has power correction according to the DIN 70020 standard.CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD A PRODUCT SHEET WITH DETAILED SPECIFICATION OF OUR CHASSIS DYNAMOMETERS
Examples of power tests performed on our Dynomet chassis dynos
Example of a powet test of a Supra on a Dynomet inertia dyno (no brake used). 6th gear used - max speed ca. 330km/h, power ca. 550HP and 680 Nm torque
Test of a 486HP Ferrari F430
on Dynomet inertia chassis dyno.
Test in inertia mode, no brake.
Test of a synchronized 4x4 Dynomet chassis dyno

Dynomet motorcycle dynos
We also offer Dynomet chassis dynamometers for motorcycles.
These are inertial dynamometers built using rollers from our car dynamometers. Our rollers are the heaviest rollers on the market - the inertial mass of 1 roller is approx. 210 kg.
We build dynamometers with 1 or 2 rollers.
Thanks to the high mass of the rollers and the large diameter of 40 cm, the dynamometer allows for accurate measurements of even very powerful motorcycles.CLICK HERE TO DOWNLOAD A PDF PRODUCT SHEET FOR OUR MOTORCYCLE DYNOS
